Journey to Success is a campaign that aims to educate and mentor current high school students in foster care to increase access to higher education and make them aware of the mental health, medical, and social service resources that are available to them on and off-campus. Journey to Success will work towards closing the educational gap and education inequities that current and former foster youth face due to the lack of attention, funding, and stigma that circles the public child welfare system. Young adults that have aged out of foster care have higher rates of housing instability and financial insecurity. Social services are available to assist them in addressing these issues, however many young adults are not aware of them.
