Through her Blueprint, Courtney worked to ensure all women and their partners in her community, regardless of socioeconomic factors, could receive a full range of reproductive health and family planning services, including abortion. She also worked to empower women to make their own choices regarding reproductive health by countering the stigmatization of women who wish to receive such treatment. She worked to raise funds through grants for abortion services to low-income women, do outreach amongst community members to increase awareness of services and lessen stigma surrounding them, and educate the surrounding community about the services (especially amongst underserved populations) on options and services available to them, including abortion, adoption, keeping a child, and more.
