alumni convening

On Friday, January 16th, YP4 held its inaugural YP4 Alumni Convening in celebration of our 10 year anniversary. About 50 YP4 alumni had the unique opportunity to come together to share skills, uplift our work, and reunite with each other. The convening was powerful testament to the power of the alumni network which is now a community of over 1,500 leaders in 45 states. The convening brought together over 50 alumni from across the country to network with each other and Fellows, uplift their work, share lessons learned, and participate in a strategic visioning exercise which resulted in participant commitments to deepening alumni engagement.

A number of alumni led skill sharing sessions in order to train peers and other alumni on the skills they have developed since their Fellowship, including Elizabeth Lamoste ’08, Mike Woodward ’07 & FLLA ‘10, Terrance Laney FLLA ’12, Amanda Matos ’12, and Ryan Hurst FLLA ’08.
