YP4 staff are taking a breather for the rest of the week, but we know our fellows are hitting the ground running as they return to their campuses and communities. We look forward to following up next week and finding out how we can best support each and every one of you.

I have never really been a person who strongly communicates my occurances via any tool - blog, journal, video, and the like. However, this conference has really been an inspiration to me, and I am more than excited to relate these experiences. Therefore, I plan to regulary sumbit for the remainder of the summit.

Karrianna Marshall is not only one of your candidates for the position of 2009 Youth Ambassador for The People For the American Way Foundation, but she is the BEST candidate.

After months of preparation, we're excited to welcome the new class of fellows to the National Summit on Thursday!

We are proud to announce our 2009 fellowship class! After a rigorous nomination, application and selection process, 150 fellows were selected from 86 campuses in 29 states.

On the opening night of the 4th Annual YP4 National Summit, Fellows had an opportunity to connect and chill with each other at an open mic event that I had the absolute pleasure of hosting. It is amazing how sharing our experiences, our passions, and our selves through artistic expression can quickly create a community. This is the power of creative resistance—artistic agitation provides the space for critical reflection and reaffirmation, for both self and the community.
