We are excited to announce that Paloma Ibañez has been promoted to Advanced Leadership & Alumni Program Manager.

We are incredibly grateful to our 2011-2012 alumni board. Last year we accomplished so much with their leadership including reaching over 700 alumni, creating new ways for alumni to connect to the Fellowship program, and fundraising over $3,000 for the program. We are excited to see the critical work our alumni will continue to do in their communities.

On January 14^th, Young People For (YP4) will be kicking off its 2012 National Summit by hosting an Awards and Cocktail Reception at the Crystal Gateway Marriott at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202 .

2010 Fellow May Mgbolu was selected for the 2011 Student Freedom Ride. From May 6-17th she will be travelling with the original Freedom Riders from DC to New Orleans engaging in discussions around social justice and direct action organizing. Congratulations May!
