2015 is a big year for YP4. Having had its first National Summit back in 2005, YP4 is now celebrating 10 years of creating change that lasts — an important milestone for any youth leadership organization.
Below are some highlights for the year ahead:
10th Annual National Summit
To kick off our 10 year anniversary celebrations, we are hosting our 10th anniversary National Summit from January 16-19th, 2015 at the Renaissance Capital View in Arlington, VA. We are excited to bring together over 150 Fellows, alumni from our past ten classes, national partners, and supporters.
In anticipation of the National Summit, our 2014-2015 Fellows and mentors are working diligently to complete their foundational Blueprint assignments, which support Fellows to conduct a community scan, realize their vision for social justice, and establish long and short-term goals. Fellows will use the information gathered to complete their Blueprints for Social Justice, a community-driven, sustainable social justice project of their creation.
Inaugural Alumni Convening
On Friday, January 16th, 2015 YP4 alumni will have the opportunity to come together to share skills, uplift our work, and reunite with each other and reflect on what the YP4 community of over 1,500 leaders in 45 states has been able to accomplish. The convening will bring together over 50 alumni from across the country to network with each other and Fellows, uplift their work, share lessons learned, and participate in a strategic visioning exercise which resulted in participant commitments to deepening alumni engagement.
February 7th, 2014 is the deadline for prospective Fellows to APPLY to the 2015-2016 Fellowship class! Please encourage young leaders in your networks to apply, and also nominate other young leaders in your community or on your campuses and contact Andrew (firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 467-2341) if you have any questions.

Our 2015 Fellows will begin their Fellowship in either Cleveland, OH for the Midwest Regional Training from June 25-28, in San Francisco, CA for the West Regional Training from July 16 – July 19, and in Charlotte, NC for the South Regional Training from August 6-9.
