Fighting anti-Muslim Racism

Cherie’s Blueprint was a campaign in which American Muslims could affirm they are against religious extremism and terrorism. After starting with Vanderbilt’s Muslim Student Associations, organizers found allies that added their names to a growing online campaign list of people that were working to eradicate stereotypes surrounding the Muslim community. The ultimate goal of this project was to create a forum that allowed for the exchanging of ideas surrounding interfaith and intercultural service projects that both Muslims and non-Muslims can do together in commemoration of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
