IGNITE

Georges Blueprint, Invest in Graduation Not Incarceration, Transform Education (IGNITE), which aims to pass several bills and a senate constitutional amendment within the University of California system and to urge the University of California Office of the President to allocate $10 million to a student-run recruitment and retention center instead of investing in prisons. Through the student-legislative process, IGNITE will address intersectional issues and create real and sustainable institutional change leading to a reduced prison population, higher college graduation rates, and more equality of opportunity for historically disenfranchised groups.
