Mental Health Access Project

Tahanis Blueprint seeks to address the unmet mental health needs of students and the lack of alternative options available on campus. Last year the university had five suicides on campus, which is extremely high and shows that university needs to look at different options of getting students to cope with the various stressors that come along with college. Tahani recognizes the stigma around seeking mental health services that often keeps students from pursuing help, and she is working to bridge some of these gap between students and resources so that students secure the support they need to lead healthy, productive academic and personal lives.
