Keely Curliss has been a resident of Boston and a member of the Nipmuc Nation. She was in her ninth season farming for the non-profit organization, The Food Project, for which she is an alum. She has years of experience organizing and doing food justice work in the greater Boston community, is an alum of City Year Baton Rouge, was a former sexual health educator and could be found growing vegetables with a team of teenagers she supervised in Lincoln, MA. Keely hopes to one day integrate her interests of youth development, food/environmental justice and farming to address the issues that face her tribal community today. Though free time is hard to come by, she enjoys traveling and learning in unconventional ways every chance she gets.
