YP4 provides young progressives with literature on how to promote their values, create change in their communities, and develop their leadership potential. We have numerous toolkits and guides that cover a wide range of topics in the progressive movement, along with our yearly publications outlining the work we’ve done to develop a pipeline of young, progressive leaders.
You can browse and download our various publications below the descriptions.
Each year, YP4 develops a Yearbook for each graduating Fellowship class that highlights the class members and Blueprints they implemented as a result of their YP4 trainings and mentorship. More than any other publication, the Yearbook provides a complete overview of the social justice work of our alumni.
We encourage you to look through our Yearbooks to see the Blueprint for Social Justice community projects our alumni have completed!
Each year, People For the American Way Foundation (PFAWF) produces a Youth Leadership Program report that provides a comprehensive overview of what the organization’s youth programs accomplished during the year, how much we’ve grown, and where we are heading. It includes updates on the YP4 Fellowship, our alumni, our Advanced Leadership and Civic Engagement programs, and updates about PFAWF’s Young Elected Officials network.
Please visit People For the American Way Foundation’s Youth Leadership Programs’ 2013 Annual Report (found below) to learn about our work and impact.
YP4 has created a number of toolkits and easy-to-use resources for young people to utilize in their social justice and organizing work, including strategy papers and what we call “Little Black Books.” They range from guides on fundraising and job searching to building coalitions in one’s community. To access these guides, please go to our Toolkits page.
